Jasmine started dancing with traditional Chinese Dance in primary and secondary school. As her passion for dance deepened in her junior college years, she went on to dance competitively, receiving formal training in Street Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary dance. With her team, she was able to compete in the Get-The-Beat dance competition, placing Overall Champion in 2022.

During her time in the National University of Singapore, Jasmine has taken on various dance-related leadership positions. Notably, she was Eusoff Hall’s Dance Director from 2023 to 2025, Production Director from 2025 to 2026, and NUS D’Hoppers Dance Captain from 2026 to 2027. Beyond her university community, Jasmine continues to compete externally and to train in dance.

As a dance instructor, Jasmine believes that everyone can dance – they just need the right environment to flourish! Standing by the values of discipline and kindness, she hopes to cultivate a safe space to learn and grow, both as a human and as a dancer.
